There is an old saying, “Your day goes the way the corners of your mouth turn”! Medical research has measured extensively the movements we make whenever we smile and laugh, not just on our face but through our entire body. The research concludes that it is possible for all 400 muscles of the body to move during laughter - thus laughter has been playfully labelled by some as a form of ‘internal aerobics’. A joyful belly-laugh can exercise thoroughly the muscles, nerves and organs of the main torso. If you were able to sustain a belly-laugh for one full hour, you could laugh off as many as 500 calories! Why not try it one full hour of transcendental chuckling to improve your fitness levels! Medical research also shows that whenever we laugh we release a wave of chemicals through the body including the endorphin hormone, which is also released during healthy exercise. Endorphins (‘of morphine’) are the body’s natural pain-relaxant - they stimulate feelings of well-being, joy and ‘high’. Enough laughter will produce enough endorphins to guarantee a ‘high-impact’ internal aerobic work-out!

our first cousin died this morning at 28. she’s celebrating her birthday today too.

fill these spaces up with days.in my room you can go you can stay.i can see now why 24 is such a hit. living life through happy and sad times..but when it strikes 24..the next scene promises a new day, a new chapter or maybe a new life?

but what’s with 28? with all those numbers.. such a reality for people forced to survive a sudden departure..sad that you have to go, dear cousin. that’s life they say.no one knows when it’s your time. .our life clock ticks by..and no matter how, when and where when it has to stop ticking..we can’t say no. Up until this moment i don’t understand why you have to go. perhaps He has other plans for you.I guess, He invited you to Heaven this time para doon ka na mag lakwatsa i still remember our trip to Cebu back in 2004; your treat to me when i visited Dumaguete for the first time.fun early morning to wait for the pump boat at Sibulan..awesome dolphins…stealing some sleep on the V-Hire trekking through the edge of Cebu to get to the heart of it - cebu city. i have seen life at a different view through your eyes..through your stories..through your friends..through your life.through your backpack.through your Levis jacket na sabi mo gift nang chatmate mo when eyeball kayo for the first time.hahaha..yup, naalala ko pa nga. naalala ko rin ang san mig light(sa akin) + red horse(sa inyo) inuman sa garden at cool na cool lng ang Tito at nag goodnight pa sa atin.you loved to travel.you loved places.you loved people.masayahing tao ka.You are like Dada.You were our sister. I miss my sister. I miss you. though years parted us before, you will always be our playmate. a cousin we always looked forward to visit and play with(kasi madami u toys at mas mahal ang pencil mo kesa sa amin hahaha!) and fun days when binibigyan ka ng money ni Tito, binibigyan rin kami pag nakita tayo naglalaro (haha). u were never selfish. at hindi ko maalala inaway mo ako or si Dada.Remember that afternoon pinakialaman natin bag ni Kuya Jhong?there’s this firecracker -red paper na bilog 2x. at pinasabog natin isa-isa sa me hagdanan.wheewww..those days.

this one is for you, cousin. we will miss u truly. go in peace.
